The Combined Major in Science is suited for students interested in combining three science disciplines or designing the focus of their program.  With around 40 combinations of science discipline packages, students are sure to find a package that meets their interest and career goals.  On completing their BSc degree with the CMS specialization, students will be equipped with a background that helps them understand and evaluate scientific issues from a number of disciplines, and how to communicate scientific findings to a variety of audiences.

Build a broad foundation

The CMS provides students with a broad-based science education, with a focus on data handling, communications skills and experiential learning.

CMS Core

CMS students take core courses that range across disciplines, prepare them for upper-level courses in their concentration, and fulfill requirements.

Explore CMS packages

In addition to completing core requirements, students select three discipline-based packages that consist of a minimum of nine upper-level credits.
